'McMillan' branded equipment was manufactured by World Radio Industries Ltd, they were distributed by McMillan Radio Supplies .
McMillan Radio Supplies first appears in advertising back in 1935. The apparently had radios made for them by World Radio, although the few examples seen to date have no identifying marks.

Advertising was heavy throughout 1935 and 1936, mostly in text adverts but the occasional graphic shows up, like the following Christmas sales promotion.

This is about the last you hear of the company in newspaper advertising, but they must have gone on considerably longer, as McMillan radios pop up with bandspread dials, meaning at least WW2 era.
