The 'Plymouth Aeroplayer' brand was introduced in NZ in 1936 and lasted until 1936.
'Plymouth Aeroplayer' branded equipment was manufactured by Parsons & Drury,
they had various distributors.
Its likely only a small number of models were made - advertising shows a dual-wave set existed, and was sold (at least) in Christchurch by McKenzie & Willis, a home furnishings store. A 5-valve broadcast band set has been seen in a collection, the author has never seen the dual-wave version.
Advertising for the brand was only seen in the last months leading up to Christmas 1936.
Its possible the brand was manufactured specifically for M&W, but there is no current evidence to confirm that.
