Stuart radios were sold in Christchurch at Hamer Electrical Ltd, which was started in 1938 by Harry Hamer (of Gough, Gough and Hamer) and Gordon Douglas Stuart.

They were probably made in-house although the mounting for one dial sighted looks a little like a Radio (1936) Ltd. one of the correct era. However the escutcheon and dial artwork shape itself looks a little Turnbull & Jones.
