The 'Telerad' brand was introduced in NZ in around 1936.
'Telerad' branded equipment was manufactured by Telerad Manufacturing Co,
they had various distributors.
Currently there are 3 documented models.
Telerad radios appear to have been manufactured by Telerad Manufacturing Co, under the ownership of one Arthur Douglas Wylie in Palmerston North. Mr Wylie appears to have been a little lax in his accounting practices and so while little is known of the company, there is a significant trail of debts and jail time in the public record. See Telerad Manufacturing Co for more information.
