Formerly Westonhouse Air Gas Co. Westco was introduced to replace that name in 1947. Radio production commenced in around 1934 although the company was around in the 1920's selling kerosene cookers among other things.
The company had a mass of brand names they manufactured although most were not well known.
Westco was also a brand of English appliances seen for sale in NZ in the 30's at the Electric Lamp House in Manners St, Wellington
