BELL CADET (1950)

The Bell Cadet was manufactured for various outlets by Bell Radio-Television Corporation Ltd in 1950.

When Al Bell took over the Antone company, he re-made the Antone Cadet as a Bell model with updated circuitry.

It's worth noting that the author has not seen the Cadet name used specifically to describe this Bell model, although it seems to be the name generally used to identify it.  The Cadet name would also be later re-used to describe a cheaper variant of the upcoming Colt lineup (in around 1958).

The same cabinet (sourced from Airzone in Australia) that was used for the Antone Cadet was used.

Note, the valve lineup was taken from an existing model, but the EF183 was not released until 1960, and the UBF89 not until 1956 - so these are likely replacements.  Do you have an original set with the correct lineup?  Please get in touch if you do.
