The 'Fivestar' brand was introduced in NZ in around 1947.
'Fivestar' branded equipment was manufactured by Akrad Radio Corporation Ltd,
they were distributed by G. A. Wooller & Co. Ltd.
Currently there are 3 documented models.
The Fivestar radio brand is one of the harder-to-find of the post-WWII Akrad Radio Corporation Ltd. Apparently used to market some non-radio products but often seen as a brand on radios otherwise marketed as Clipper, Regent or Pacific.
