PHILCO MODEL 1203 (1947)

The Philco model 1203 was manufactured for Chas Begg & Co. Ltd by Dominion Radio and Electrical Corporation Ltd in 1947.

5-valve all-wave (3 band) tablegram. 

Note the studio photograph by Gordon Burt Photography in Wellington (retrieved from the Alexander Turnbull Library online) and the near-perfect likeness in the newspaper advertising - These studio photographs pop up from time to time and were obviously taken to base print advertising on.
